To the Skies!
2025 second build project of the year! We’ve teamed up with Modable.eu and Modultra.com for an epic build mod!
The mod will feature the latest AMD 9800x3D processor, paired with Nvidia’s RTX 4090 to trial the new Modultra WOBO Beta waterblock (single slot design).
For the Core system we have the following Specification:
- AMD 9800X3D
- Gigabyte X870i Aorus Pro Ice Motherboard
- RTX 4090 Founders Edition
- Corsair SF10000w PSU
- G Skill Ripjaws Neo M5 2x32gb CL26
- Kingston Fury Gen4 2TB Drive x2
Making this an ideal Gaming and editing rig going forward for 2025! While also opening up options for a a 9900x3D or a 9950x3D chip upgrade, if we deem it necessary. It’s very exciting times as it’s the first time in a very long time that we’re moving away from Intel!

I wanted this build to stand out from the rest, to add something abit more unique and to create that overall aesthetic that would make you think and look twice!
There’s no better approach to this than to custom design parts that would make it stand out. Taking something from your own imagination and developing it to life. For this, we went with some custom Fan shrouds and a custom reservoir cover. Adding to this we applied some Waterbased Decals suited for model building to give us that little fine detailing.

Custom Vertical mount from the geniuses over at Modable.eu! He really hit the nail on the head with this one. I wanted something to showcase the WOBO Waterboy waterblock for the RTX 4090 FE. After some brainstorming and tinkering and giving my idea on how i wanted it to mount, Bostjan came up with the perfect mount without compromise!
The Finally! To the Skies!
From Concept back in October to the final finished build today has been such an amazing journey. I’ve learnt alot and i’ve really come to realise that thinking outside of the box is where i truly belong, allowing me to expand past the norm and to express my imagination.
I’ve taken some inspiration from some of my old favourite mecha Anime from the 90’s, specifically from the Gundam GP08, the graphics card positiion replicates the GP08’s big shield. Maybe i should have taken it one step further and done the waterblock in White too? There’s always time for another revision 😀
