The Watercooled build
Nexcore - Next Level
We had alot of fun with this one. The open space allowed for some interesting tubing runs which created this very industrial looking look, keeping to the original aesthetic of the Aircooled build. Unlike the aircooled build though, we added some colour to highlight the areas we thought would bring out the accent and shadows.
For Nexcore watercooled build, we have the opportunity to bring Biwin products into the lime light for the first time. Showcased recently at CES, we are one of the first in the world to showcase them in a build mod, an absolute honour for us. The products include, Biwin DW100 DDR5 RGB Memory and Black Opal NV7400 Gen4 nvme storage drives.
Center Stage!
Asrock Z890 Taichi Aqua Motherboard
The holy trinity of Z890 motherboards arrives at the studio and boy does it not disappoint! What an amazing motherboard packed full of features and weighs about the same as a fully fledged chonky graphics card. It is also the first Aqua motherboard to not include a monoblock like it’s predecessors, covering only the VRM’s and NVME storage slot. Unlike other motherboards in it’s class, the whole nvme slot section is screwed down rather than using a quick release system. When asked, this was for better distribution of pressure over the drives for better cooling performance.

You may have seen at CES 2025 last week that Biwin showcased their new line up products! They aren’t new to the market, they’ve been around for a long time, mainly as a OEM for other brands. But they’re going their own way now, with a line up of their own products and we’re excited to be one of the first in the world to showcase them in a build mod.
