Bringing you an exclusive prototype chassis from Kompcase focused on mainstream customers for AIO and Air builds.
Designed for exceptional air cooling in mind for the best end user experience. The design incorporates AIO cooling with the ability to mount 240mm, 280mm and 360mm radiators. Made from mild steel for maximum durability and rigidity and finished in a scratch resistant black powder coat paint.
We opted for a raw finish for our sample to match our aesthetics. This raw state will not be available as an option however. It’s a shame because we really like it!
We’ve teamed up with Noctua, Antec, Gigabyte, Asrock, Biwin and Anacomda on this build while using Thermal Grizzly’s renowned thermal paste solution for optimal cooling performance!
This will be another double build project with one testing out the chassis’s aircooling capabilities and the other with Asrock on it’s custom watercooling options. We’re improvising here so the end creation should be pretty wild with it’s raw aesthetics!
Build Specs and Design
Don’t be fooled by how elegant this frame is, it looks light but it carries quite abit of weight! People with bad backs should be abit warey of lifting this… use your knees!

The Watercooled build
Nexcore - Next Level
We had alot of fun with this one. The open space allowed for some interesting tubing runs which created this very industrial looking look, keeping to the original aesthetic of the Aircooled build. Unlike the aircooled build though, we added some colour to highlight the areas we thought would bring out the accent and shadows.
For Nexcore watercooled build, we have the opportunity to bring Biwin products into the lime light for the first time. Showcased recently at CES, we are one of the first in the world to showcase them in a build mod, an absolute honour for us. The products include, Biwin DW100 DDR5 RGB Memory and Black Opal NV7400 Gen4 nvme storage drives.
Center Stage!
Asrock Z890 Taichi Aqua Motherboard
The holy trinity of Z890 motherboards arrives at the studio and boy does it not disappoint! What an amazing motherboard packed full of features and weighs about the same as a fully fledged chonky graphics card. It is also the first Aqua motherboard to not include a monoblock like it’s predecessors, covering only the VRM’s and NVME storage slot. Unlike other motherboards in it’s class, the whole nvme slot section is screwed down rather than using a quick release system. When asked, this was for better distribution of pressure over the drives for better cooling performance.
Biwin Product Showcase
DW100 RGB DDR5 Memory and Black Opal NV7400 NVME Storage
You may have seen at CES 2025 last week that Biwin showcased their new line up products! They aren’t new to the market, they’ve been around for a long time, mainly as a OEM for other brands. But they’re going their own way now, with a line up of their own products and we’re excited to be one of the first in the world to showcase them in a build mod.
Featuring a striking yet understated design, the RGB lighting adds a touch of elegance without being overly flashy. This blend of style and simplicity makes it an excellent choice for modern custom PCs.
The Biwin Black Opal DW100 DDR5 RGB Memory kit boasts a robust 2mm-thick aluminium heat spreader paired with a high-quality thermal pad (a step above the thermal tape used in some kits) to ensure efficient and reliable heat dissipation. Built with Hynix memory chips, these kits deliver exceptional durability and impressive overclocking potential.
They’re available with support for both AMD EXPO and Intel XMP!
