Alphacool Apex Stealth Metal Fan
A sketchy start for this Fan from Alphacool but still one of my favourites of 2023. Performance isn’t quite what we all expected but it still delivers exceptional performance and makes for an excellent radiator fan.

Upgrading Minibotpc Photography gear. Having bought the 35mm F1.4 variant from Sigma, I needed to try another and this lens certainly doesn’t disappoint. Sharpness is on point and an excellent well built lens with some heft to it.
Streacom BC1 Mini ITX Test Bench
I’ve always wanted one of these since they launched. The sheer size and what it can expand into it always surprised me. Having seen varying builds around this over the years, it gave me a rough idea of what I wanted to do with it. With a project needing a revamp it made sense to purchase one and create a new build around it. Check here to see what we did with this mighty test bench from Streacom.

P240M X-Flow
One of my favourite additions to my watercooling collection in 2024. The EK Quantum Surface P240M X-Flow radiator is not only thick but comes with a high density fin stack. Perfect for those high performance builds that are limited on space.
MSI 4070 Super Gaming X Slim
MSI 4070 Super Gaming X Slim in White for one of our project builds with Monster Studio. The cooler design on this graphics card is gorgeous, very well finished and feels very premium. The premium passthrough metal backplate is a nice touch while adding some support and rigidity to this rather long card.
We’ll test the cooling on this card shortly with its copper baseplate that contacts the GPU and memory modules which is cooled through an aluminium fin stack by MSI’s TORX Fan 5.0. The TORX fan blades are linked together by a ring arc which stabilises and optimises high pressure airflow.
Anacomda DDR4 ET (Eryx Tatacius)
ANACOMDA(Minpo Corp.) DDR4 Memory making an appearance here at Minibotpc. Elegant while maintaining a clean finish, for an affordable price. Gamers and enthusiasts alike shouldn’t miss these, using Samsung mc’s for good stability (And overclockability).
Featured here are 3600mhz CL18 32gb kits available in RGB/Non RGB low profile and in black and white colours with speeds of upto 4133mhz.
Minibotpc - Good vs Evil
Photography session with our main rig. This system has been our main editing and gaming rig for the past year, having gone through several iterations and modifications to reach to a stage where we are finally happy with it. Though in true minibotpc fashion, we never stay the same for long so it’s probably due for yet another iteration for a mid 2024 refresh. Who knows, maybe we will throw a 5090 at it…
