We have been blessed with this amazing opportunity to work with Cooler Master on a unique project to bring their Ncore 100 MAX into the spotlight!
The MAX as the name implies from it’s previous releases, includes Cooling and a PSU so it’s designed for an easy end user plug and play scenario. We did a default build as it was intended to get a feel for the Ncore 100 and it’s such a solid and robust case. Lots of cable managing areas and a removable side tray to hide and tidy cables where needed. The PSU cables are designed to length for the case so there isn’t much excess to contend with. The tight enclosure made it a little difficult to plug cables into the motherboard but in the end, it wasn’t anymore difficult compared to a conventional SFF build.
Included is a 120mm AIO with the radiator coming in at 38mm thick which is cooled by a 25mm fan. The PSU is their newer variant ATX 3.0 compliant V850 which comes with a 12vhwpr direct cable supplying 450w. The design of the Graphics card compartment allows for an array of configurations catering for different size GPU’s including thick 3 slot cards.
Our take on this beauty...
The stock side panels are nice but we’re on a mission to make them even nicer. Trying a material we haven’t really worked with before, Copper… intend on using this material to build new side panels from scratch and adding our own little bit of class to this classy case. Complimenting this with a custom loop for the CPU side, we’re hoping to create something that’s elegant but also timeless.
